- Does the order notification show the customer or the items?
- No, and that is deliberate. The alert carries amount, currency and time only. Nobody walking past the packing table can read a customer name, an address or an email off the screen. For the order contents you go to your store admin, where that information belongs.
- What happens during a flash sale when orders arrive together?
- Every payment is recorded and counted. Sounds that would overlap are coalesced so a busy minute does not turn into an unbroken alarm, and you can set a big-sale threshold so the large orders still stand out from the small ones.
- Can the whole team get order alerts?
- Yes. Point one webhook at a Slack or Discord channel and every order posts there as well, so fulfilment sees the same alert as the owner without anyone sharing a Stripe login.
