The shop bell, for a shop that has no door

A physical shop gives you a bell over the door and a till that makes a noise. You know how the day is going without looking at anything, and so does everyone else working with you. Move the shop online and all of that disappears into a dashboard that only speaks when you go and ask it.

Stripe order notifications with a sound put the bell back. The tab sits open on the machine in the stockroom, on the laptop at the kitchen table, or on the screen above the packing bench, and every cleared payment rings.

It listens to Stripe, so your storefront does not matter

There is no plugin to install, no theme to edit and no platform to be compatible with. You register one event destination inside your own Stripe dashboard, and from then on any successful charge in that account rings: a checkout on your site, a Payment Link you sent in a DM, an invoice a wholesale customer just paid, a subscription box renewing at three in the morning.

If you rebuild the storefront next year, nothing here changes, because the connection was never to the storefront.

Order alerts for the people packing the boxes

The owner is not always the person who needs to know. Point a webhook at a Slack or Discord channel and every order posts there too, so fulfilment, customer service and the weekend cover all see the same thing at the same moment, without anyone handing out a Stripe login.

  • One incoming webhook URL for the whole channel, set up on the Slack and Discord alerts page.
  • Amount and currency only, so a public team channel stays safe.
  • Failed deliveries retry on their own, and you can see the delivery status.
  • A full-screen sales display for the screen above the packing table.

How it compares with the order emails you already get

Most shops already have three notification paths, and none of them is fast and audible at the same time.

Busy days, flash sales and the sound of a good afternoon

When ten orders land in a minute you want to know it is happening without the room turning into an alarm. Overlapping sounds are coalesced, the totals keep counting every payment, and a big-sale threshold gives larger orders their own treatment so the wholesale order does not sound like a sticker pack.

The monthly goal bar turns the same stream into progress, which is more useful on a slow Tuesday than on a launch day, and that is exactly when you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my storefront?
If the payment is processed by your Stripe account, it rings. That covers a custom storefront, a headless build, Stripe Checkout, Payment Links, invoices and subscription renewals. What matters is the Stripe account the money lands in, not the software that collected it.
Does the order notification show the customer or the items?
No, and that is deliberate. The alert carries amount, currency and time only. Nobody walking past the packing table can read a customer name, an address or an email off the screen. For the order contents you go to your store admin, where that information belongs.
What happens during a flash sale when orders arrive together?
Every payment is recorded and counted. Sounds that would overlap are coalesced so a busy minute does not turn into an unbroken alarm, and you can set a big-sale threshold so the large orders still stand out from the small ones.
Can the whole team get order alerts?
Yes. Point one webhook at a Slack or Discord channel and every order posts there as well, so fulfilment sees the same alert as the owner without anyone sharing a Stripe login.
Can I run two shops on one subscription?
Up to 10 Stripe accounts on the same $4.49 a month plan, each with its own label, so you can hear the main shop and the side brand in one tab and know instantly which one sold.
