Refunds and cancellation

ChaChing Alerts costs $4.49/month and is billed monthly. There is no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. This page says how to stop paying and when money comes back.

You are not charged to try it

No card required. Your free trial ends 48 hours after your first live payment arrives, or 30 days after signup, whichever comes first. Then subscribe for $4.49/month to continue, or pay once for lifetime access. No automatic charge. Nothing is taken from a card during the free period, because no card is collected. If you never subscribe, there is nothing to refund and nothing to cancel.

How to cancel

Open your dashboard, go to billing, and cancel in the Stripe portal. It takes one click and it takes effect immediately.

• You keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. Cancelling does not cut you off that day.
• You are not charged again. The next renewal simply does not happen.
• Your connections keep working until access ends. To stop payment events reaching us sooner, delete the destination in your own Stripe dashboard or delete the connection here.

Refunds

If you were charged and it was not what you wanted, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. No form, no reason needed. This covers the ordinary cases: you meant to cancel and forgot, you subscribed and it did not do what you expected, or the service was not working for you.

After 14 days we do not refund a month that has already run, but you can cancel at any point and the next charge will not be taken. We do not charge for part months and we do not bill in advance beyond the current month, so cancelling is usually all that is needed.

If the service was broken on our side for a meaningful part of a month, ask and we will refund that month whether or not the 14 days have passed. We would rather give the money back than argue about it.

How a refund reaches you

Refunds go back through Stripe to the card that was charged. Stripe usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days, though your bank decides the exact timing. We cannot refund to a different card or by another method.

Deleting your account

Cancelling stops the billing. If you also want your data removed, write to support@chachingalerts.com from the address on your account and we will delete your profile, connections, settings and payment rows together. The privacy policy explains exactly what that covers.

Asking

If you are signed in, the support form in your dashboard is the fastest route and it reaches us directly. If you cannot sign in, write to support@chachingalerts.com. Say which email address the account uses and roughly when the charge was taken, and that is enough for us to find it.
